About
Hi, I’m Trinity (she/her)
I am a holistic, trauma-informed therapist with a background in CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, feminist theory and trained in Perinatal Mental Health with Postpartum Support International. I am well-versed in 12-step recovery programs including individuals and families dealing with addiction and alcoholism. I have worked in hospital, school, and community-based settings, which have challenged and shaped my knowledge and interests.
I received a BA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University and an MSW from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. Along with evidenced-based practices, I like to use humor (when appropriate,) pop-culture references, and share anecdotal knowledge from all the podcasts I’ve recently listened to. I will probably drop an f-bomb or two. I am not a “closed book” or “blank canvas” kind of therapist, and may share my own experience if it feels right. I hope I will feel like the non-judgy friend you’ve been needing.
Recently I have opened the scope of my practice to include supporting those who are caring for their own creative pursuits: artists, writers, musicians, makers and the like. Navigating big life transitions are my specialty; whether you are shifting careers, your identity, or your boundaries with others.
In my spare time (ha) I earned an MFA in Writing in January 2025 and I am working on my first novel. I enjoy thrifting, reading, bodies of water, watching house renovation shows with my husband and having dance parties with my daughter.
